Unstuck

By Abigail Brown

MY REVIEW

Unstuck is a wonderful read. It combines a biography of a woman with dystonia and a different kind of Bible/personal study all in one. This is a very personal journey of the author’s struggle with her doubts and negativity surrounding her chronic illness.

I have generalized genetic dystonia so I can really relate, but I would recommend this book to anyone who struggles with a Chronic illness and the depression, anxiety, and other issues that come along with the illness.
*it has questions to ponder and answer at the end of each chapter
*It uses a couple of versions of the Bible. I tend to just look the references up myself in the KJV. It’s what I always use and am familiar with and love.

  • It has very deep questions to ask of the reader, a place to write your answer in the book, and is incredibly thought provoking.
I do definitely recommend it for those who struggle with the negative thoughts that come with being chronically ill. I was given this as a gift, and I must say that it is a fantastic one. I plan on doing the same.
